Do you want to be part of one of the largest and most ambitious Community Forest programmes in the UK? There is significant national and local support for new woodland planting and an increased focus on trees and woodlands as part of our response to the climate emergency. We have an exciting, but challenging, opportunity to accelerate the creation of The Mersey Forest.

If you are keen to take up the challenge and are you looking for a rewarding career that will help make a lasting difference to local communities, to the economy and to the environment we want to hear from you.

You will bring inspiration, innovation and practical tree planting, woodland creation and management knowledge to help deliver The Mersey Forest vision. With a degree in Forestry or land management subject you will have a good knowledge of funding and project management and a commitment to high quality silviculture and project delivery. You will need to show that you have good experience of dealing with clients and partner organisations, as well as being target focused, positive, prepared to innovate, and have a 'can do' mentality.

The Mersey Forest Offices are in Birchwood, Warrington with travel required from this base across the Mersey Forest. The Mersey Forest covers North Cheshire and Merseyside.
