We are looking for a skilled and experienced Assistant Project Manager to support the development of an ambitious project that will conserve, celebrate and promote the history of the River Tweed and establish a major long distance trail.

Key tasks for the Assistant Project Manager will be as follows:

  • Support the overall development of the Destination Tweed project
  • To consider and review the range of project activities identified so far
  • To make connections with and include the community groups that have an interest in and can contribute to the scheme
  • To develop new activities that may not have been considered thus far and contribute to the development of the Activity Plan
  • Support lower capacity partners to develop projects
  • To take a lead role in the organisation and delivery of consultation events
  • Contribute to the production of detailed costings that meet funders requirements
  • Assist the management of consultant inputs to the project including Trail development and the interpretive scheme
  • Help to secure and/or devise a credible fundraising strategy for the remaining match funding for the delivery phase including public and Trust sources
  • Support the development of all other required application submission documents to ensure a competent and complete Round submission to NLHF
  • Contribute to social media strategy / content
