We are Living Streets, the UK charity for everyday walking.

We want to create a nation where walking is the natural choice for everyday, local journeys; free from congested roads and pollution, reducing the risk of preventable illnesses and social isolation. We want to achieve a better walking environment and to inspire people of all generations to enjoy the benefits the simple act of walking brings.

Join us and together we will create a walking nation.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our Local Impact department, working across South and West Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and the West Midlands.

You will manage a team to ensure our projects are delivered on time and to a high standard. You will be responsible for day to day project and budget management of designated projects, compiling key internal and external project reports, ensuring monitoring and evaluation plans are in place and successes and new learnings are captured and shared.

You will build and maintain strong and supportive relationships with project partners (combined authorities and local authorities) and support the team’s engagement with project audiences, in particular primary schools.

The role will be home-based in North West England, West Midlands or South/West Yorkshire, with regular travel in these regions and to Living Streets offices required (subject to our internal guidance in response to Covid-19 restrictions).

To apply: email the completed application form to recruitment@livingstreets.org.uk using reference Project Manager (Schools) (Maternity Cover) by the closing date. The application form and further details can be found on our website.

Strictly no agencies.
CVs will not be accepted.
