Caledonian Conservation Ltd is recruiting for an Ecologist to work with our knowledgeable and passionate team. 

We work on a wide range of projects throughout the UK, Republic of Ireland, and Isle of Man, including developments (all stages), conservation research, habitat management, policy and guidance, training, education, and public interpretation. Clients include developers, private landowners, government agencies and other public bodies, NGOs, community groups, academic institutions, and other consultancies.

The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day project management of a wide range of ecology projects, undertake data analysis and reporting, and undertake ecological surveys, as well as invertebrate specimen identification. Expertise in beetles (Coleoptera), another invertebrate group, and another area (e.g. birds, protected mammals, habitats etc) is essential.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions it is envisaged that the successful candidate will be home based initially, but will eventually be based at the Caledonian Conservation Ltd office near Bridge of Allan, Stirling, Scotland.
