About Us

We are the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority, an organisation that protects, enhances and promotes the immense beauty, wildlife and character of the Yorkshire Dales.

Set against expansive heather moorland tops, each valley has its own distinct charm, from crags and pavements to an underground labyrinth of caves.

We are now looking for a Land Management & Conservation Apprentice to join our team for a 23 month apprenticeship.

The Role

As a Land Management & Conservation Apprentice, you will join our Land Management team and learn how to safeguard our nationally important landscape.

Training alongside highly skilled colleagues, you will gain hands-on experience while learning everything you need to obtain your qualification in environmental conservation.

About You

To join us as a Land Management & Conservation Apprentice, you will need:

  • A real interest in the countryside and the National Park
  • To be a hard worker with loads of enthusiasm
  • The willingness to learn and undertake an environmental conservation advanced apprenticeship course
