As a member of the Estates Team, the key responsibilities are to ensure that our greenspace sites are managed as efficiently as possible. Working closely with the Communications and Fundraising Teams to ensure the sites are promoted and marketed effectively and to support future projects.

The main focus of this role will be working on the prestigious residential developments at Prince Philip Park, Bordon and Wellesley in Aldershot. The role will involve a significant element of customer focus to ensure that the residents on our sites receive good customer service and information regarding the space we own and manage and feel fully engaged with the green spaces.

You will ensure that the sites are managed to a high standard by delivering good and efficient contractor management and maximising the Charitable Impacts for local communities.

Ideally you will have;

  • Experience in managing parks, woodlands, nature reserves or other open spaces for public benefit
  • Experience in dealing with the public in a customer facing role.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Expertise in liaising with residents and the public
  • Experience of setting up and running landscape management contracts
  • High level of tact, diplomacy and confidentiality
  • IT literate with proven skills in using MS Office packages

Other relevant information;

  • Based at Bordon and Aldershot, with frequent travel to other Land Trust sites
  • Incudes working outside with some evening , weekend and bank holiday working
  • You will be required to travel by car and public transport as necessary to fulfil the role effectively. Note some sites are remote and not accessible by public transport.
  • You will need to have a current valid driving licence
  • Business travel costs will be reimbursed
  • The role may require a DBS check
