We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic person with good wildlife conservation and project development and management skills to join our red squirrel project team. The post-holder will work for the Red Squirrels Northern England (RSNE) project which is managed by Northumberland Wildlife Trust

Northumberland Wildlife Trust and its trading subsidiary employ 60 staff and work from premises in Gosforth and at a number of outposts around Northumberland. As an organisation we strongly value our personnel and are committed to continuous improvement in our conservation work.

We are looking for an individual with a variety of skills who can work with volunteer groups and landowners to coordinate and deliver effective conservation work with high levels of competency. The successful candidate will possess great people skills, will be a strong communicator and have a passion for wildlife and the environment.

The role is for 21 hours per week and the contract is for a 12 month period at the outset with opportunities for continuation. The salary starts at £20,970 per annum (pro rata for part time).
