We’re looking for an energetic and passionate individual to lead efforts to protect and restore wild places and wildlife in the south of Nottinghamshire.

We are an organisation that is passionate about creating nature recovery networks, inspiring people to connect with nature and defending wildlife and need a leader who is ambitious and energised to deliver this in Nottinghamshire.

This role would give you an opportunity to lead the Nature Recovery team (South), to develop and deliver ambitious visions for land management and land use on and around our own estate, and other priority areas, working closely with the Head of Nature Recovery (North) and other senior managers and in partnership with other landowners and key stakeholders.

You will need a broad background for this challenging and rewarding role. Requiring knowledge of landscape scale conservation, land management techniques and funding streams, project management and experience of influencing others to protect and restore wildlife habitats and create opportunities to achieve gains for wildlife.
