Landscapes for Water Landowner Engagement Manager– White Rose Forest

Working at various locations across the River Aire catchment in Leeds, Bradford and Craven Districts in the Leeds City Region
Salary: c£32,000 - 35,000 depending on experience

It is an exciting time to work with the White Rose Forest Partnership (WRF) as we help deliver the Northern Forest and help the city region mitigate and adapt to the challenges of climate change. 

This post is hosted by Community Forest Trust (based in Salford, Manchester) but the location of the role is across the Aire Catchment (between Malham and Leeds) and therefore suits someone who can easily travel to locations across the Leeds City Region. 

Funding and wider support for the role is provided by Leeds City Council, Environment Agency and Woodland Trust. The role is managed day to day by the Partnership Manager for White Rose Forest, based at Kirklees Council.

We are looking for an ambitious and competent project manager who can work effectively to deliver a complex project on time to budget; secondly manage a multi- stakeholder landowner engagement team with a variety of competing demands and skill sets and thirdly have the expertise and experience in planning and delivering a communications campaign to attract interest in this ground breaking Leeds Flood Alleviation Scheme 2 Natural Flood Management programme. This post is potentially suitable as a secondment opportunity.
