CAT seeks Visitors Services Assistants to work for the season as part of our front of house, working with CAT’s accommodation, catering, retail and reception teams.

The Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT) is a leading education, research and visitor centre demonstrating practical solutions for sustainability. CAT is a national environmental charity based at the picturesque Llwyngwern site in Mid Wales, within easy reach of Machynlleth, the Snowdonia National Park and Cardigan Bay.

CAT employs a wide range of people from different backgrounds, with different skill sets, united in an aim to make a difference and help safeguard the environment that we live in for future generations.

Working at CAT is a perfect way to help CAT inspire and inform visitors, whilst working as part of our fun and motivated team.

The Visitor Services Assistant role is a great opportunity to join CAT, as you will be the first point of contact for visitors and will assist with CAT’s accommodation, catering, retail and reception functions. You will also be given training to assist in the operation of our unique water-balanced railway, which is a popular attraction of the Eco Centre, both as a means to access the higher levels of the site and also in its unique operations.

If you would like to be part of a growing charity in sustainability, please visit our website to apply for this post.
