Contracts Officer

£24,446 per annum

37.5 hours per week – based in central Bristol

This key new role will manage the administration of contracts and funding agreements across Sustrans, supporting managers to ensure appropriate and correct documents are in place, coordinating them through a process from review of terms to authorised signatures and secure storage. Other responsibilities will include being first point of contact for queries about contracts (including purchase and supply of services contracts) and funding agreements in relation to the work Sustrans delivers, answering common queries and escalating others to appropriate teams.

With a good standard of education, you will have significant experience in administration and of working to multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines as well as experience of document filing and archiving. You will also have experience of managing or handling written contracts and of proof reading. With excellent written and verbal communications skills, you will have good time management and organisational skills, the ability to summarise and interpret complex information and the ability to plan and prioritise your own workload. You will also have a basic understanding of contractual clauses and general terms and conditions, be IT literate and committed to the promotion of sustainable transport.
