SRE Ltd provides independent sustainability and energy advice to developers, architects and contractors on a wide range of residential and commercial projects. The services we offer include Domestic and Commercial Energy Modelling, Thermal Bridging Calculations, Thermal Comfort and Overheating studies, Renewable Energy Feasibility studies, Sustainability and Energy Statements, BREEAM certification, SAP/SBEM calculations, Building Regulation Compliance, Internal Daylight and overshadowing studies, Microclimate and Pedestrian Comfort Assessments.

We are expanding our team and looking for someone who is motivated and enthusiastic to join as an Energy Consultant.

Candidates will be expected to demonstrate an understanding of building performance, energy generation and/or building services and energy modelling (SAP/IES/iSBEM). A relevant degree and/or qualification, understanding of daylight/sunlight and thermal comfort and experience of CAD and Rhino/Grasshopper are beneficial but not essential.

Candidates will require:

  • an interest in climate change, CO2 reduction technologies and sustainability
  • knowledge of the built environment, building services or engineering
  • the ability to assess technical data and architectural drawings
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • the ability to compile comprehensive but concise reports

The job will be full-time, based in our office near Petersfield, Hampshire and the salary will be dependent on experience and ability.
