We are recruiting for a highly experienced Project Manager to take forward our award winning WaterSpace programme into delivery. We have secured significant funding to take Bath River Line project forward - a strategic project delivering an improved walking and cycling route and linear park linking east to west across Bath, from Batheaston to Newbridge .The project will deliver sustainable travel options, increased recreation and art, and enhanced biodiversity.

Working with a number of stakeholders and partners you will take forward and develop the Bath River Line project, draft the full business case to unlock the funding and deliver the initial phases.

The WaterSpace project covers the River Avon and Kennet & Avon Canal network within Bath & North East Somerset. Project partners include Environment Agency, Canal & River Trust and Wessex Water.

You will have proven ability in delivering complex projects, writing funding bids, tender briefs and managing consultation events using expertise, initiative and judgement and a demonstrable working relationship with public, private and third sector organisations.

To succeed in this role it is expected that you will possess proven analytical and problem solving skills, with excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills including writing and editing skills, with the ability to ensure milestones and deliverables are set and achieved to time and to a high quality.

We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated person with experience of community engagement, an interest in the natural environment and public realm and its links to health and well-being.

This post is full time (37 hrs per week) fixed-term until 31/03/2023, available immediately with the potential to extend dependent upon the success of securing funding.

Salary: £34,788 - £37,849 per annum (Grade 9)
