The Ocean Conservation Trust is a Charity that owns the National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth. Our mission is “Connecting us with our Oceans” and we have been connecting people with the Ocean for over 20 years. Each year our Schools Team work with 30,000 students through the Ocean Conservation Trust Learning Programme.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Schools Officer to join our team. You will be responsible for assisting with the planning, delivery and evaluation of the OCT Learning Programme as well as developing new approaches to teaching with an appreciation of the National Curriculum.

The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working with primary school aged children with at least one-year teaching in environmental or other informal education.

We are looking for someone who is a good team player, is passionate about both education and the environment with a positive outlook.
