We are looking for a passionate and committed person to join our Conservation Strategy Directorate to help contribute to the Trust’s growing farm advisor work. The ideal candidate will have an agricultural background, with experience in delivering and implementing wildlife friendly agricultural advice and land management.

With 76% of land in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, and Oxfordshire classified as agricultural land, the current ways that this land is managed is having a big impact on wildlife. But the way agricultural land is managed in the UK is rapidly evolving, and there is a huge opportunity for BBOWT to work more closely with landowners and farm managers to help achieve the Trust’s goals to restore wildlife and connect people with nature.

This role will be pivotal to help expand our work on agricultural land, and will focus on scoping new opportunities for BBOWT to expand its wildlife friendly agricultural advice and land management work.

The Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust is a membership-based voluntary organisation, managing over 80 nature reserves, influencing land management and educating and encouraging all sectors of the community to care for local wildlife.

For full details on how to apply for the post, please visit our website www.bbowt.org.uk/jobs, email: recruitment@bbowt.org.uk or phone 01865 775476.

CVs will not be accepted. Please note that only successful applicants will be notified.

The closing time and date for applications is midnight on Sunday 17th November 2019.

Interviews will be held on Monday 25th November 2019 at The Lodge, Littlemore, Oxford.

We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all sections of the community.
