Engagement Support Officer – Part Time (Contract)

We’re currently looking for a part time Engagement Support Officer to join our Outreach Team on a maternity cover contract lasting up to one year.

The Role

As an Engagement Support Officer, you’ll assist the Outreach Team with a range of activities.

Acting as an integral part of the team, you will help to deliver a variety of initiatives to community groups and school visits, as well as supporting our practical work with volunteers.

Working with our Outreach Managers and Customer Business Support Team, you will:

  • Develop and manage our CRM systems to facilitate school bookings and volunteer management
  • Post content on our social media channels and ensure our website is up-to-date
  • Support the smooth operational running of a geographically dispersed team

About You

To join us as an Engagement Support Officer, you will need:

  • Experience of supporting the delivery of engagement and/or learning programmes and projects, such as co-ordinating people, resources and project planning 
  • Operational experience of managing a booking system and a CRM and/or volunteering database 
  • Experience of database management and spreadsheets, including analysing data and writing reports
  • Administration skills 
  • A Level 3 diploma in Business or an equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline (such as administration, marketing, management or media) or relevant work experience

Experience of supporting the development and co-ordination of funding proposals would be beneficial, as would experience of using social media to develop customer support. It would also be an advantage if you had experience of managing projects across sites, taking customer and staff needs and demands into account. 

We would like to hear from you if you’ve worked as a Project Administrator, Project Assistant, Engagement Programme Administrator, Learning Programme Administrator, Programme Delivery Co-ordinator, Programme Co-ordinator, or Outreach Administrator. 

This is a part time role, working 21.75 hours per week. The closing date for applications is the 27th October 2019.
