Humber Coastal Conservation – Project Manager

28 Hours per Week – Fixed Term 18 Month Contract

£28,700 p.a pro rata Plus up to 9% Employer Pension Contribution

Do you have excellent communication skills? Do you want to use your conservation knowledge to create a Yorkshire rich in wildlife for everyone? 

If so, we are looking for an enthusiastic Humber Coastal Conservation Project Manager to join our dynamic Marine Team based in one of our offices in either Flamborough, Spurn or York. The post holder will lead an exciting cross-cutting Living Seas and Living Landscapes programme of work, developing a feasibility study appraising options and developing partnerships that will allow for the creation of a Coastal Conservation Corridor across the Humber Estuary funded by the Endangered Landscapes Programme.

We are looking for someone who is highly organised and has the ability to engage with a wide range of audiences including: local landowners; consultants and key stakeholders. The post holder will have a good understanding of terrestrial, marine and conservation practices. Furthermore, the right candidate will have a high level of self-discipline and motivation to work independently as well as being able to work as part of a lively and dynamic team.
