We have an exciting opportunity for an Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Resource Manager to join our market leading consultancy business in a permanent position.

Working within the Compliance Services team, you will be responsible for managing the environment, health and safety compliance documentation for the Legislation Update Service, an online subscription service helping companies to manage their compliance obligations for environment, health and safety.

Ideally suited for an experienced environmental management professional, this role offers flexibility, a family friendly work environment, and the opportunity to work with a fantastic product. Our customers include multinational brands, FTSE500 companies and as EHS Resource Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the information and support we give them meets current legislation and management systems standards requirements.

The role

The primary activities of the role include:

  • Take ownership of our environment, health and safety legal compliance documentation.
  • Ensure all environment, health and safety legal content and resources are complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
  • Get to know our customers’ needs and ensure legal compliance content and resources meet those needs.
  • Manage and contribute to the development of accurate and creative resources around environment, health & safety compliance and management systems.
  • Be a voice of authority to customers, managing and contributing to legal helpline enquiries, and guiding users in setting up their legal registers.
  • Manage and develop the EHS Resource team.

The candidate

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • A degree (or equivalent) in an appropriate subject or an ability to demonstrate comprehensive EHS work experience.
  • Experience of working as an environmental management practitioner.
  • A working knowledge of organisational compliance and in particular, the practical application of environment legislation.
  • Experience of working with environment, health and safety related management systems standards such as ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
  • Knowledge of the legal framework within the UK.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
