We're looking for a highly-organised person with a passion for business and a commitment to sustainability. 

Working with the Operations Manager, you will help with a wide variety of tasks, from stock management and procurement, to dealing with our courier and warehousing partners, to sorting out incoming goods and returns. As we are a relatively small team, there will also be opportunities to get involved in other aspects of the business such as sales, marketing and finance. 

This is a perfect opportunity for someone who wants a varied role, a good deal of responsibility and a job with a positive impact working alongside a great team.

We’re looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join the wholesale team at Midsummer, to take care of technical enquiries, diagnose and trouble-shoot installations that are not working as they should, and ensure that new systems that we sell are correctly specified.

We supply a wide range of products, from solar PV inverters to battery storage systems and electric vehicle inverters. Whilst we don’t expect detailed product knowledge from applicants, we will expect you to demonstrate a passion for renewables, and a keen and enquiring mind that can rapidly assimilate and distill technical information.

We expect most applicants to have a background in an engineering or scientific discipline – but hands-on practical ability is more important to us than academic qualifications. An understanding of basic electrical concepts is essential, as are good communication skills. You will have a natural inclination to help people and get systems working, getting to the bottom of technical issues quickly and patiently, and communicating solutions clearly by phone and by email. Programming or electronics experience would be an advantage. You will be at ease using hand and electrical tools.
