About us

Soil Association Certification is the UK's largest organic certification body, responsible for certifying over 70% of all organic products sold in the country. We certify organic food and farming, organic textiles and organic beauty products. Since 1973 our team has built up extensive practical experience and provide unrivalled support before, during and after certification.

About you

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to work on the processor team. This role will be specifically working within the textiles and food sector and will see you working with businesses right across the supply chain from importing, manufacturing, wholesaling, storage and retail.

Your role

The role is focused on managing the organic certification of our clients, reviewing inspection outcomes, product information and labelling, and answering any general queries. The role is based in the Soil Association office in Bristol, with some travel expected to conduct account visits, accompany inspections and attend events.

Your experience

You will have with experience in a quality or technical role within the textiles industry or be a graduate from a textiles/clothing degree bachelors degree, with excellent organizational and administrative skills. The ability to provide solutions within tight deadlines are essential as is the ability to prioritise your own workload. Good customer service skills are essential. Experience of the meat industry would be an advantage.
