Location: London Borough of Camden

The London Borough of Camden is working with Keep Britain Tidy to undertake a waste composition analysis of their domestic general waste and mixed dry recycling streams, designed to help understand what residents are placing in their bins and to encourage residents to recycle more.

Waste and Recycling Analysts will work in a team from Monday to Friday (7.5 hours per day). The project will start with training on Wednesday 2 October and is expected to finish on Friday 18 October 2019.

The successful applicants will have an interest in and understanding of the environment and waste sectors, and the ability and willingness to undertake a waste analysis of general waste and mixed dry recycling.

These positions will provide sought-after experience for those looking for a career in the environmental sector, especially the waste and recycling industry, and are paid above the London Living Wage. In joining this project you also have the opportunity of joining our Bank of Casual Workers, through which further employment may be available at the end of this contract.

Full training will be provided at the start of the project.
