Role Purpose

The post holder will play a key role in providing effective administrative and business support to the team who assess development proposals for potential environmental impacts across the breadth of NRW interests. The team respond to Local Development Plan and development casework consultations across several Local Planning Authority areas. They ensure advice is provided to customers that influences sustainable place making and supports the sustainable management of natural resources.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education to GCSE level standard or relevant work experience.
  • Able to work well as part of a team
  • Customer focussed with effective communication skills and good telephone manner
  • Good organisational skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload and deliver results to timescales.
  • Able to utilise standard IT systems.
