About Us

SCCoop, is a local co-operative (not-for-profit social enterprise). We aim to realise the full potential of Streatham Common and the Rookery for all its users. We work across traditional service boundaries to provide improved services, generate additional income, build community partnerships, support volunteering and skills development. SCCoop’s services deliver improved social value benefits for social care and disability, reduced crime and a better balance between biodiversity conservation and recreational use.

Since 2014, SCCoop has worked closely with the local community, stakeholders and volunteers to enhance the Rookery into an award winning park and has secured lottery funding to restore different parts of the gardens. With the threat of closure looming over the Streatham Common Paddling Pool we have successfully raised funds to maintain and keep open this much loved asset on the Common. We have also been instrumental in enabling the opening of the Ink Spot brewery in the Rookery Barn.
