Sustrans is the charity making it easier for people to walk and cycle. We connect people and places, create liveable neighbourhoods, transform the school run and deliver a happier, healthier commute. Sustrans Scotland is seeking to recruit a part-time infrastructure officer to join our Places for Everyone team.

 Infrastructure Officer, Project Delivery (ref: SUS2729)

£24,446 per annum (pro rata)

3 days per week job share - based in Glasgow (there may be opportunity/flexibility for occasional home or remote working as well as working from the Sustrans office in Edinburgh)

An exciting part-time opportunity has arisen for people with passion for place and urban design to join our Infrastructure team www.showcase-sustrans.org.uk/about/places-for-everyone.

We are seeking candidates from a range of backgrounds including experience in civil engineering, active travel or public realm, amongst others. As part of the Places for Everyone team, you will work with our partner in Glasgow in order to design, develop and deliver inspirational projects that restore the balance of the city’s streets in favour of people walking, cycling and wheeling.

You will have experience of project management, of building successful working relationships and of engaging with communities and stakeholders. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to advise and influence others and excellent attention to detail. Your excellent written and verbal communication skills will complement your administration and IT literacy.
