What you’ll do

The Communications, Education and Outreach (CEO) Manager for Brent will take on the responsibility for designing, planning and delivering communications, education and outreach work to promote recycling services to communities across the contract area. You will also manage internal communication for the workforce. Supporting behaviour change with the public, as well as improvements to the performance of the services will be vital to the success of the role. The CEO Manager will also assist in the development of Veolia’s reputation both regionally and nationally, working closely with colleagues in the regional and central teams.

This is an opportunity to lead a team of five and work in close partnership with our operational teams and our clients, as well as our wider London team to support and develop vital front line environmental services. The successful candidate will also be part of delivering Veolia’s wider business objectives in the London region and across the UK. 

Where you’ll work 

You will be based at the Brent Public Realm Offices in Alperton, near Wembley. The role will require working in partnership with Brent Council with some travel across the London Borough of Brent.

The experience you will need

To excel in this role you will need to be a strong communicator, self-motivated with a can-do attitude. You will have strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and ideally some people and budget management experience. Being educated to degree level or equivalent, with a background in communications, project and campaign planning is essential and experience within the recycling and waste sector is considered desirable.
