River Stewardship Company works to maintain and enhance watercourses and to inspire, empower and connect communities. We have a rapidly growing portfolio of commercial waterway maintenance and improvement projects, and our ‘Riverlution’ brand describes and delivers our social impact aims of connecting and working with communities and individuals through their local waterway.

The Riverlution Manager will further develop and lead on the Company’s social impact strategy; developing and delivering programmes of activity to help people access, enjoy, learn about and contribute to the natural environment in and along waterways. They will also be responsible for supporting river stewardship activity elsewhere; connecting and empowering others through the provision of consultancy, training programmes and networks.

The post holder will be responsible to the Chief Executive and work closely with the Board of Directors, community groups and other stakeholders. It is expected that they will have line management responsibilities for a small number of staff and ‘Voluntary River Stewards’ (trainees).

For further information and an application pack, see our website.

C.V.s will not be accepted.

Closing date: Monday 22nd July, 9 am. Shortlisting will take place that week. We anticipate that interviews will take place on the 30th and 31st July.
