About Windmill Hill City Farm

This is an exciting opportunity to join Windmill Hill City Farm; an award-winning charity providing recreation, education and therapy in a green oasis in the city centre. Its care services to the local community include volunteer placements, wellbeing courses, a mental health drop-in, and supported work placements.

About the role

You will oversee the volunteer journey including recruitment, training, support, retention and recognition of volunteers engaged in the farm; and ensure that all aspects of the volunteer programme are delivered to a high standard.

You will coordinate a variety of project activities: planning, delivering, and reporting on projects, including employment support for adults experiencing mental health challenges and a cooking project for isolated older people.

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic person to help people and to address disadvantage across Bristol by developing the volunteering programme and coordinating a variety of projects. An ability to coordinate multiple projects to a high standard and to be involved with new project innovations and ideas is essential.

Windmill Hill City Farm is an equal opportunities employer that values diversity in its workforce.
