Soil Association Certification is the UK's largest organic certification body, responsible for certifying over 70% of all organic products sold in the country. We certify organic food and farming, organic textiles and organic beauty products. Since 1973 our team has built up extensive practical experience and provide unrivalled support before, during and after certification.

About the opportunity 

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a member of the Technical team within Soil Association Certification. 

Your role 

You will be working as part of our technical team who provide a technical support service across our organisation, both internally and to customers and wider stakeholders. This support includes delivery of the sampling and investigation requirements for our different certification schemes, training and guidance in certification operations, standards interpretation and implementation. About you 

We are looking for you to have the following key skills and experience:

  • Practical experience and knowledge in farming or food production & organic standards
  • Highly motivated with an excellent attention to detail, integrity and enthusiasm to learn about all aspects of organic production and processing
  • Display excellent written and spoken English communication skills
