Starting salary £23,973 per annum (pay range is £23,973 - £28,203 and the successful candidate will be appointed to the starting point)
1 Year Contract - Full Time - 35 hours per week 

The Role:

 Zero Waste Scotland, Scotland’s resource efficiency and circular economy expert is looking for an experienced Data Officer to work in the ERDF team to ensure our Strategic Intervention Operations are compliant with the ERDF requirements and we can understand and communicate the contribution they are making to improving Scotland’s resource efficiency and assist in the creation of a circular economy. The Data Officer will support the ERDF team with the delivery of projects to ensure the Strategic Intervention’s Operations are compliant and can be clearly communicated to Zero Waste Scotland and other relevant external stakeholders. The Data Officer will also contribute to the collation and submission of claims to the Managing Authority. They will have regular contact with Zero Waste Scotland’s Operation Teams to ensure that compliance and reporting guidelines are understood and that the ERDF funded Operations are compliant with ERDF requirements

The Candidate:

To be successful in this role you will have strong administrative skills and experience including the ability to work with numerical data. Highly methodical in your approach, you will thrive on managing a variety of competing projects whilst working on your own initiative. A natural team player and communicator, you will also be adept at working with others as part of a close knit team and building relations across the business. Knowledge of grants or other investment programmes would be advantageous.
