Based:  Sutton Courtenay Environmental Education Centre (SCEEC), Abingdon

Sutton Courtenay Environmental Education Centre (SCEEC) is our education centre set on a 19 acre nature reserve in Oxfordshire attracting 5,000 visitors annually. The Education Manager (Oxon) is responsible for managing the Centre and leading the team to deliver an inspiring education programme to school children and an engaging programme of hands-on activities to a broad range of audiences including families, young people and volunteers.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivating Education Manager who will lead the team to deliver our inspiring education programmes. The ideal candidate should have a minimum two years’ experience developing and delivering programmes to school groups and be a skilled communicator, experienced in leading teams of staff and volunteers and working with a variety of audiences.

The Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust is a membership-based voluntary organisation, managing over 80 nature reserves, influencing land management and educating and encouraging all sectors of the community to care for local wildlife.
