Global Canopy is an innovative environmental organisation that targets the market forces destroying tropical forests. Since 2001, we have been testing new approaches to tackling deforestation, and guiding companies, investors and governments worldwide to think differently about our planet's forests.

We have a unique opportunity to recruit a Corporate Engagement Lead, who will be at the heart of an international team, breaking exciting new ground in the pursuit of more transparent and sustainable supply chains. The successful candidate will be a leader with a passion for innovation and teamwork, a deep understanding of ‘forest-risk’ commodity supply chains and private sector actions to address deforestation risks.

The role will sit within the Programmes team at Global Canopy, and will also work closely with SEI, our partners on Trase. You will be responsible for Global Canopy’s engagement with companies on deforestation risks in their supply chains and operations informed by our supply chain transparency and company performance information.

The successful candidate will have experience in corporate sustainability and/or supply chain management, a strong network in sustainable commodity supply chains, experience with line management and excellent analytical skills. Experience with line management and managing relationships while working on multiple projects with different colleagues is essential.
