Are you the person to champion the nationally important qualities of the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty? The Cornwall AONB is one of the largest in the UK, comprising breath-taking coastal, estuary and moorland landscapes. Internationally important for its wildlife and heritage, the AONB faces critical challenges from climate change, development and recreational pressures.

We are seeking an inspirational leader with a proven track record in partnership working at a strategic senior level to:

  • champion the AONB and the promotion of sustainable policies and action to conserve and enhance the area
  • advocate the Vision for the AONB, commitment to it from a wide range of stakeholders, and linking its aims into other strategic plans
  • coordinate the Cornwall AONB Partnership to effectively deliver the Management Plan
  • manage the Cornwall AONB team and its broad range of exciting projects and initiatives.

The Interviews will be on the 20th and 21st June.
