Sustrans Officer, South (ref: SUS2650)

£24,446 pro rata per annum

22.5 hours per week – 12 month contract - home based, with travel to and work in locations throughout the South (predominately South East) - with regular attendance at the local office in Reading

This exciting and interesting role will be responsible for leading and supporting the delivery of activities promoting walking and cycling across a range of settings, likely to include schools, workplaces and communities.

With a good standard of education, you will have experience of working with partners on a community based or environmental project, experience of project management and of delivering physical activity or other behaviour change projects with schools, workplaces or communities. You will have excellent written and verbal presentation skills, the ability to deliver engagement activities and promotional events and to motivate and enthuse others. You will have excellent organisational skills and be able to prioritise and manage your own workload. You will have an understanding of sustainable transport issues, experience of an established project management framework, be IT literate and be committed to the promotion of sustainable transport. Clearance by an Enhanced DBS check is mandatory for this role.
