Fixed Term Contract to March 2024

Do you have great communication skills and an enthusiasm for partnership working? Can you lead the creation of an inspiring programme of digital interpretation and events to get new audiences involved with natural and cultural heritage? Would you like to play a key role in an exciting new £2.8m Landscape Partnership Scheme in the Chilterns?

Chalk, Cherries and Chairs is a 5-year Landscape Partnership Scheme at the heart of one of the UK’s finest and most distinctive landscapes. The National Lottery Heritage Fund is the largest funder, contributing £2m. The Scheme is made of up 18 projects and has been designed to conserve and enhance the wildlife habitats and landscape features of the Central Chilterns and to inspire communities to learn, create and act to care for their local heritage.

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the communications and interpretation programme for a large, multi-partner project. You will play a key role delivering the Scheme’s ambitions to tell the story of the rich natural, social, and community heritage of the Chilterns and to engage a wider and more diverse audience in understanding, celebrating and protecting it.

You will bring to the role experience of creating digital communications, managing websites and social media and developing and implementing interpretation projects. You will be part of a small project team based in Chinnor, working with multiple partners across the Scheme area.

If you have the skills and experience we need, we would love to hear from you.
