As a member of the Training, Education and Consultancy team, the Training & Education Officer will play a key role in developing and delivering training in STH and related subjects across classroom, outdoor and web environments.

The successful candidate will have a confident and professional manner, experience of delivering training, holding a relevant teaching qualification or be working towards relevant teaching qualification e.g. level 3 Award in in Education and Training, together with a proven track record in project management. Practical experience in delivering training in STH or another Green Care intervention together with practical experience of horticulture/green are desirable.

This is a vital role within an expanding part of Thrive’s activities, where energy, initiative, organisation and flexibility will be rewarded with opportunities to develop your knowledge and skills in a field which is gaining increasing recognition amongst health and social care policy-makers.

Appointment to this post will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service check, proof of right to work in the UK and provision of 2 acceptable references..
