We are looking for an innovative and inspiring education officer who will embrace the opportunity to be involved in the development and promotion of our new nature reserve at Peak Shopping Village in Rowsley. You will be involved in creating the new site and delivering people engagement activities to really involve users in the conservation of Derbyshire’s wildlife. The two hectare site is on the banks of the river Wye and will be a mosaic of habitats including wildflower meadow, wetland and woodland

If you have experience of providing environmental education, especially to children, in formal in informal settings and practical conservation skills this could be the role for you.

This is a fixed term contract until March 2024 with part time hours of 11.5 per week.
