Kent Wildlife Trust has recently been successful in securing funding through the Interreg FCE Programme to deliver H2O: Source2Sea, a project seeking to develop the tools and expertise required to bring together more intelligent water management to enhance biodiversity and build resilience in to catchments in the both the UK and France.

Kent Wildlife Trust is the Lead Partner on this project and is responsible for the overall project reporting and delivery.

The Interreg H2O: Source2Sea Project Coordinator will assist in the delivery of this complex and exciting project. You will work alongside the Wilder Landscapes Manager, other Trust colleagues, project partners (Kent County Council, Nausicaá Centre National de la Mer – Boulogne sur Mer and CPIE [Centre Permanent d’Initiatives pour l'Environnement] Val d’Authie) and active contributors (Environment Agency, WWF-UK, Canterbury Christ Church University, The Wildlife Trusts, Agence de l’Eau, Agence Francaise pour le Biodiversite, Parc naturel des estuaires et de la mar d’Opale and the World Ocean Network) to ensure that the project finances, objectives and transfrontier aims are met.

You will be an excellent communicator with good written and spoken French skills and experience of building and managing partnerships involving a wide range of different organisations and interests. You will have demonstrable experience of Interreg or other European-funded projects, including spending and claiming external funding, providing accurate financial forecasts, budgets and accounts, and ensuring projects deliver on time and to budget.
