Trust Manager (Salary £51,152 - £61,139 per annum)

Fife is one of Scotland’s top destinations for outdoor recreation, where FCCT is responsible for the delivery of a range of countryside recreation services at sites across the Kingdom, embracing Scotland, most used long distance route, the Fife Coastal Path, 14 award winning beaches, including the West Sands and Eden Estuary, the Lomond Hills Regional Park and the new long distance route, the Fife Pilgrim Way. Working closely with partners, land owners and managers, and local communities, we aim to continue to improve access and opportunities for residents and visitors to experience, engage with and enjoy Fife’s wonderful countryside, promoting health and wellbeing, the Fife economy and jobs.

We are now seeking a Trust Manager to lead and manage FCCT, who can bring the requisite skills, knowledge and experience to continue to evolve and progress the Trust through the next challenging and exciting stage of its development.

Working closely with the Trust management team, you will set the strategic direction of FCCT in order to bring about our ambitious plans to develop the potential of Fife for countryside recreation, through embracing a community led approach.

Reporting to the FCCT Board, you will work closely with FCCT’s Chair and vice Chairs, and will play a key role in projecting the Trust’s ambitions and in managing key stakeholder relationships.

You will have a passion for the countryside, and be able to motivate and inspire others. You must be able to demonstrate an ability and have experience of collaborative partnership working. You will also be an excellent communicator with first class skills in raising organisational profile, be politically aware.
