Thanks to generous funding from City Bridge Trust for the next five years, we are launching a new horticulture and outreach project starting in April this year. To deliver this project, we are delighted to announce a new vacancy at Surrey Docks Farm.

We are recruiting for a 4 day/week Green Mentor who will establish the Farm as an educational centre for food growing through outreach and engagement with the local community. This role will support the Farm’s longer terms aims to champion new and sustainable ways of growing.

We're looking for someone with relevant community gardening experience who can bring initiative, organisation and exceptional interpersonal skills to develop and manage an exciting new horticulture and outreach project for the Farm.

In return we can offer you a friendly, creative and supportive team; a unique work environment - with livestock and gardens right next to the river Thames; and external training opportunities through London Youth and Community Southwark.
