Would you like to play a part in creating a Yorkshire rich in wildlife for everyone? Would you like to use your conservation skills to deliver events and activities to help habitat management and engage with local communities?
If so, we are looking for an energetic and inspiring Nature Reserves Assistant to join our North Team. You will use your skills and knowledge in conservation and ecology for habitat management and assist with management of livestock. You will actively engage with the local community through guided walks, volunteering task days and work parties and through these events you will promote the positive link between nature and health and wellbeing.
As well as having a passion for working with people you need to be self-disciplined and self-motivated as you’ll be planning your own work days to ensure all jobs are completed. You will be efficient in keeping up-to-date records and projects on the planning system and will promote and adhere to health and safety policies on site.
