Wiltshire Wildlife Trust is looking for an ambitious, motivated and highly literate Communications Manager, to lead the Communications team at an exciting time in the development of the Wildlife Trusts movement.

Joining at the outset of our biggest campaign for decades – Wilder Future, which is intended to generate wide public support for our wildlife and habitats, we are anticipating a period of growth over the coming months - and an agile, dynamic communications team will be key to its success.

You will lead on all of our outward-facing digital communications and public events, acting as media liaison and ensuring our communications channels showcase the breadth of the Trust’s work – on our nature reserves, in schools and communities and in supporting our fundraising.

We’re looking for an experienced communications professional, who can ensure a clear brand and tone of voice across all our communications, build the Trust’s profile in the broadcast and press media, lead on content planning to reflect key organisational aims, and ensure our website and digital spaces are dynamic and engaging in order to bring wider public support for our work.

The role is based in our office in Devizes and will involve some travel within Wiltshire, including our network of 38 wonderful nature reserves, as well as some weekend and evening work.

Wiltshire Wildlife Trust is the largest organisation concerned with all aspects of the environment in Wiltshire and Swindon. We advocate for the protection and restoration of habitats for wildlife, promote sustainable farming and renewable energy, and demonstrate through our work how a closer relationship with nature can increase human wellbeing.

We are also part of a network of 46 Wildlife Trusts which spans the whole of the UK, advocating for the recovery of our natural environment, which has over 800,000 members.
