We are seeking a highly enthusiastic and organised person with a keen interest in biodiversity to lead on our practical habitat management works across the borough.

You will have a solid knowledge in habitat management and biodiversity conservation together with a can do attitude and will be a good team player as well as someone able to operate on their own. The ideal candidate will also be a good communicator, as working with and alongside volunteer and friends groups is an essential requirement of the role.

This is very much a hands on practical position but there is also a small amount of IT skills required to carry out the role.

The borough of Basingstoke and Deane has a range of wildlife-rich habitats including ancient woodlands, calcareous grasslands and heathland.
