Engagement Officer

Durham Wildlife Trust

Salary £24,000 per annum

The Durham Wildlife Trust area covers a wide diversity of rich wildlife habitats and local communities passionate about the area in which they live, play and work.

In the role of Engagement Officer with Durham Wildlife Trust you will be responsible for developing and delivering the Trust’s engagement activities. Connecting communities with the natural environment and encouraging positive action.

You should be able to demonstrate strong leadership and project development and delivery skills. Be a creative thinker capable of devising unique and highly engaging projects and activities. Have a sound knowledge of natural history and be passionate about wildlife and its conservation.

An ability to nurture relationships is important as you seek to develop a strong affinity amongst educational institutions, groups, communities and partner organisations for the natural world around them.

Based at Durham Wildlife Trust’s Head Office: Rainton Meadows, Houghton-le-Spring, DH4 6PU
