Full-time seasonal contract from mid-April to mid-September

Wild Service is the ecological and land management consultancy of the Gloucestershire and Avon Wildlife Trusts. We are dedicated to delivering high quality ecological work within the commercial sector and supporting the work of the Wildlife Trusts.

We are looking for a highly motivated seasonal assistant ecologist with ecological knowledge of a range of habitats and species, experience of working in an Ecological Consultancy or other part of the Ecological sector, and good communication skills.

The role will involve assisting with protected species and Phase 1 habitat surveys to current industry standards and assisting in preparing high-quality ecological reports. Ideally the candidate will be working towards a protected species licence for bats and/or great crested newts.
