Environmental Technician

Location: Based from Droitwich

Salary: £17,500 - £21,500 per annum

Hours of Work: Mon-Fri – 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.There will be a provision for overtime, and as deployment may be anywhere in the UK, deployment may occasionally include overnight stays away from home.

Employed on a full time basis and reporting to the Regional Manager ECM West, the primary purpose of the role is to facilitate planning, procurement, supervision and data collection in relation to Environmental Claims Management.

Environmental Technician Requirements:

  • Undertaking field monitoring works including measurement and sampling.
  • Supporting colleagues in all aspects of Environmental Claims Management.
  • Provision of accurate and timely information to line management.
  • Supporting team performance by sharing knowledge and best practices at all levels
  • Ensuring consistently high levels of safety, technical robustness and organisation.
  • Duties are not limited to the above and the postholder will be expected to satisfy any task for which they are qualified and experienced to undertake.

Environmental Technician Responsibilities:

  • No minimum experience required. All necessary training will be provided.
  • A degree in a geo-environmental related discipline or similar is required.
  • Experience of environmental assessment or monitoring and in collection of field data would be an advantage.
  • Applicants should have excellent organisational and time management skills as well as professional manner the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues, workforce and clients at all levels.
