Based at Wakehurst, Kew’s wild botanic garden in West Sussex, the role of the Horticulture Support Officer is instrumental to the efficient running of the horticultural operations. Providing support to the horticultural managers and supervisors the role encompasses a wide range of tasks including administration such as maintaining time sheets, overtime records and general office duties to ensuring best practice in health and safety, sustainability and compliance, coordinating the horticultural training and volunteer programmes, and maintaining biodiversity and environmental management records.

The post holder will also carry out research to assist the Senior Horticultural Team with special projects.

With a proven background in a similar role, you will be a team player who can manage conflicting priorities and work on your own initiative.

You'll need to be well organised and comfortable with using excel and writing word documents.

Salary will be £21,527 to £24,835 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
