The Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust (BBOWT) was formed in 1959 and has a vision of an environment rich in wildlife for everyone, valued by all. We work in partnership and through collaborative projects with local communities, businesses, land owners and local authorities.

The purpose of this role is to lead development and delivery of the Trust’s work to restore nature through the effective management of our nature reserves and wider countryside land management initiatives across Berkshire.

Responsible for developing, co-ordinating and delivering the Trust’s Land Management objectives in Berkshire relative to the Trust’s overall Strategic Plan and the West Berkshire Reserves & Commons Business Plan and Grant.

The post holder will be responsible for c.8 staff, who collectively deliver all aspects of on-site conservation management.

The ideal applicant will have a sound understanding of relevant land management issues, along with significant experience of managing teams of staff and partnership working. They will be able to demonstrate leadership in previous roles and the ability to balance the effective day to day operational delivery of the teams, alongside compliance with Trust and partnership objectives.
