Full time, 2 year fixed term with option of 1 year extention, Based at Plymouth City Council

We are looking for a self-motivated and highly organised individual with a strong background in non-domestic energy efficiency and renewable generation projects. You will be first class communicator and be able to work with a range of public, private and community sector partners to identify opportunities, and build the business case for investments that will accelerate our transition to a clean energy system. 

The role will be hosted by the Plymouth City Council’s Low Carbon Team and will be responsible for enabling a wide spectrum of projects including energy efficiency, renewable energy and district heating projects. You will play a key role in a new south west wide ELENA funded Project Development Unit and be able to draw on a wider team of project managers and associated technical, financial, legal support hosted by Bristol City Council.
