We are seeking an individual, preferably with an ecology background, with experience of using spreadsheet and GIS software e.g. MapInfo, QGIS, ESRI, to join our Ecology Team to work on projects at all scales and across a variety of sectors.

This position is initially for a 9-month contract commencing in mid February/early March 2019.

Who should apply

Candidates must have a working knowledge of spreadsheet and GIS software and have good attention to detail. You will need to live within commuting distance of our Tetbury office and hold a full UK driving licence. You will need to be proactive and motivated and happy to work both as part of a team and on your own to deliver specific tasks allocated to you.

The Role

You will be responsible for liaising with the senior GIS consultant and project managers to assist with the management of data and production of mapping outputs. The role will start on 1st March 2019 and is expected to run until 30th November 2019. It is likely to be mostly office-based although there will be opportunities for the right candidate to assist with protected species surveys, depending on experience.
