Operation Wallacea, a scientific research organisation, requires an enthusiastic Fundraising Officer for our head office.

We are looking for someone with some experience of fundraising (preferably for an Operation Wallacea expedition) to join our in-house fundraising team.

Duties would include extensive travel delivering presentations about fundraising to both university students and schools. Contacting students, keeping our fundraising information as current and correct as possible. Introducing and assisting students with their own fundraising – applications, letter writing etc.

We will also ask for your assistance in giving presentations and delivering initial meetings to potential schools and students.

In line with the principle that all Opwall staff should have first hand experience of the field surveys, each year over the June to August period, assistance on the overseas field expeditions will be required.

Enquiries about the post should be sent to Olivia Farman ( and she will send further information about the role along with an application form.
